Abusing a hard drive such as shaking it is ill-advised. The read-write head(s) could scratch the disk platter(s) and then you are really out of luck when the hard drive crashes.

Im not saying to do this....

I know its ill advised. I only did it because I had pineapple all else to do. I was at an impasse, either do nothing, or attempt to shake the pineappleer. I chose to shake it and it worked. In no way, shape, or form do i suggest this.
