Currently things like 30% boss applies separately from your dagger so to see a full 30% effect, you need it on both your dagger and katara. This is because daggers and kataras do separate hits. I'm not sure about the % dmg though, but the luk should apply to everything.
In chaos update, this changes and makes your katara as if its a shield and will stack with your dagger. So this should mean that you would only need 1 30% boss to have full effect.
