If you can date each other behind her mother's back, then I'm sure you could take her down to dinner behind her back as well. Taking your girl out to dinner is perfect for the first anniversary - it's nothing too flashy or set up; it's just right (Though I guess that's decided based one what restaraunt you choose to take her to).

Do you mind me asking how old you are?
