The only ranged carry that needs/can use these items over others is kog'maw.
@ Will: How is a squishy carry being squishy a problem? Almost all ranged carries are like that o_O if you're positioning properly and your tanks are doing their jobs it's almost never an issue. PLUS you should almost always be getting a banshee's veil as any carry.
