I did some quick math a while ago because I was curious myself (assuming the base DEX is the necessary cap). The fact that the set is overall and not top/bottom is bad, but unless you have 45 more attack on equips that are replaced (hat, gloves, shoes, overall, cape, and weapon), the set is better. Even missing an equip (less STR%
isn't enough to make up for the set bonus of +45 attack total assuming they stack. If they do not, then you'll still need another 30 attack. There's only two issues in mind. The first is if the cap on weapon attack is really 255. If that's the case, the level 140 set when clean is 192 attack. It would take virtually no work to match 255 attack (evolving ring, time traveler's medal, rage, divine shield, etc.) which means the missing STR% is much more worthwhile. In fact, if the cap is 255, it would take another 25 attack beyond the 63 to hit cap for DEXless to be better. The second is the fact that the new hardest boss drops the items in a raid that will definitely have more than one warrior. Good luck on those drops. Assuming you even can kill it every time you go and assuming you can only run once a day, it will take you quite a few weeks to get the full set. If you're looking for full power and have all the time in the world, the level 140 set is for you. Otherwise, start grabbing that STR% gear and high attack equips.
