Only issue there is the fixed miss rate due to level difference, since Chains doesn't pull missed enemies. Kinda redundant anyway since EXP is still madness even with misses.
It's fairly easy to think of Battlemages as magical pre-BB NLs in terms of attack variety, but they get a more diverse set of skills later on, honest D:
