Unrelated questions, Snowman and Pierce

Never heard of losing pierce while getting bumped into.
It's probably more of an inconvenient thing when you try to fire it but happened to get bumped off the ground for a split second.

Damage increases by x1.20 or 20% after each mob it hits after the first.
