Nexon: "Mechanic is a well-balanced class"

Potential gives the same power to all characters regardless of factors like class. Everyone gets stronger, just not in equal ways. It isn't FAIR that those with more NX gets more bonuses than those who don't, but it isn't unbalanced because every character gets the same bonuses if they put the same amount of money into it.

Just to point it out, the Potential system does favor some classes over others. For example, Warriors and Theives are favored over Bowman, Pirates, and Mages, because the first two classes have high level tops/bottoms and the later three dont. There are some common equipment options, but they are often rare and expensive. Then of course on 1h users that can use shields are favored over 2h users.

To some the difference is slight, but it is a difference.
