It hasn't got the spotlight that Rio de Janeiro recieves but I really like my town. It's the capital of the southernmost region of Brazil so we actually have winter (we get to negative temperatures sometimes but no snow).
Where I live we have some kind of regional pride or something so we preserve our culture and have some different influences than the rest of Brazil. We had immigrants from italy, germany, poland, japan, etc so differnent cultural roots.
