Nexon: "Mechanic is a well-balanced class"

Potential gives the same power to all characters regardless of factors like class. Everyone gets stronger, just not in equal ways. It isn't FAIR that those with more NX gets more bonuses than those who don't, but it isn't unbalanced because every character gets the same bonuses if they put the same amount of money into it.

Not everyone wants or can spend 500+$ on a F2P MMORPG. Nexon could have made miraculous cubes a boss drop (low rate for weak bosses, multiple cubes for hard bosses) instead of a NX item. Players wouldn't be so strong, so bossing would still be a challenge and would have a real purpose.
