New laptop to replace aging one.
#2
From my own perspective, as well as past experiences of owning an HP. No. I'm probably biased though.

I've always spoken with several other people that majored in IT, and a lot of people have told me about how Lenovos are actually pretty decent. Mostly because the specs are adequate, and you can actually sell Lenovos back to people and actually get something out of it (cash). HPs, I'm against because based on my own personal experiences with them, they have crappy customer service as well as the fact that their hardware isn't exactly all that great. Lenovo is just something better if you're more business oriented, I even noticed that on most of the Lenovo designs, they look very clean and well-made. It's a decent buy if you intend on keeping it to either look professional, or to sell it back to other people.

I read the specs on both, and the Lenovo can be upgraded to a max of 8 GB. There was nothing on the HP laptop, so I'm not too sure about that one. This can be a great option if you intend on upgrading memory, if not, it's not something you should be overly concerned with. Both seems to have very similar specs, so it's really hard for me to just give an exact opinion on which I think is the better option for you. For me, I'd probably pick Lenovo. only because the upgradable mem is something I do like with it. In regards to the OS, you can always change that. There ...are ways. Wink But let's not get into that.
