Well, let's take a look at common shields:
Stolen Fence - 5 W. Def 7 Slots
Pan Lid - 10 W. Def 7 Slots
Maple Shield - 10 W. Def 10 M. Def. 1 Avoid 10 Slots
Black Phoenix Shield - 20 W. Def 20 M. Def 7 Slots
Palette - Forgot stats >_<
Palette comes from gachapon and Maple Shields are way up there in cost because they're either clean or are scrolled for some stat. That leaves either something simple like a Pan Lid or a Black Phoenix Shield.
