However, it doesn't matter much. It's clear that even if it's possible to get 3 lines from 2, the probability is so low that it's not worth trying for. The amount of money you'd spend trying for a third line on your godly-but-for-those-2-lines item, trying to get it to 3 lines, would be enough to create an item equally godly but with 3 lines right from the start.
