Agreed. I'll vote anyways though:
1 - I love the chinchilla with a monocle. For some reason, the banner as a whole just doesn't appeal to me. The font also seems too...basic.
2 - Nice and simple.
3 - The best one, IMO. Good job on adding the shadow to make it stand out.
4 - 2nd place, if I could choose one. It might have looked a bit better if it was a gradient instead of a solid line through the middle of the text, but nice job nonetheless.
5 - Interesting font design, but it doesn't really appeal to me. s:
6 - I lol'd at Pink Bean. Otherwise, I didn't care for it.
7 - I could see this being expanded as a banner ad and put on websites (southperry banner ad on sleepywood, anyone?
), but as being the banner for the forum, it's just too loud with too many colors.8 - I like the gradient effect. Having the random maplers makes me dislike it though. I prefer a banner with no maplers at all.
