That's the whole point of jungling, it's nice gold. Ninja Tabi isn't all that great since you want to avoid CC, which is why Merc Treads and Banshee's are good. I'm no tank player, but I know items of use on tanks are Randuin's, Sunfire, FoN, Banshee's, Guardian Angel, and maybe Thornmail in some situations. I've never liked using atmogs on tanks. Maybe Cho'gath, but he's not exactly a tank.
