Vietnam: Please look up "communism", and then look how well it worked before Vietnam. Vietnam came about through a policy called containment to keep the pumpernickelty communist government of Vietnam from spreading to other countries.

Iraq: I don't agree with this course of action, as well as a pumpernickelton of other U.S. citizens, so no comment. It started out as "looking for WMDs", then it turned into the same thing as Vietnam, pretty much.

Somalia: Too tired to care ATM, don't know enough about it.

Really irrelevant, the people don't make the military choices in America.
Somehow, I think if we did, we wouldn't be Iraq right now in the first place.
But, then again, who knows...
