Makes me think something icky like a keylogger, but i've done a bootscan with Avira Antivir and Avast as well and everything comes up clean, so that leaves me still believing maple
This makes me wonder if maybe the problem for some people might be a battle going on between antivirus and maplestory (or specifically hackshield) that is consuming CPU. Perhaps try temporarily disabling antivirus as a test to see if that reduces the over heating.
