you get fame for deleting a character for about 2 weeks but then people will forget you. dozens of people have deleted 14x+ characters and i always thought that was stupid. its your hours of time you put into it but do you really want to delete the memories and friends youve made with that account? are you so addicted to maple that deleting your own character is the only "way out"? especially if you're "planing to delete at level ____". why even waste time now playing it if you're gonna delete it some day? it takes 10 hours per level to level up. you can do a lot of homework, see a lot of movies with friends for 10 hours. you might as well be deleting one day of your life at a time.
It has nothing to do with addiction. More like a sense of accomplishment / end-game feel to it once I do, besides, here's a question.. You know how MapleSEA's players are getting hacked through the ranking and etc? Imagine if gMS will be like that one day, I'm not saying that it will happen, I'm just saying that there's a probability/likelihood of that. Besides, eventually, as far as how I see it, once gMS shuts down, all characters will be deleted anyways. That's why people make videos to remember their character and their good times with their friends. ;]
