Yeah, sure. But some people were just assuming it to be fact, instead of just speculation. So, I was just adding my thoughts and that they could be alive as well. I don't see how you can disprove either sides. For those that thought they died, it could have been possible. But, it was also possible for them to live.

I posed the question whether they are alive or dead and sniperjohn and I came to the conclusion they were dead. Of course, they could be alive as well, but the thing was neither of them knew how to swim, so who saved them from the lake? There were no water marks past the point where they were on the stairs, so it's not likely anyone saved them, although the ED theme proves otherwise as Nao surfaces beneath the twins. The other thing making me lean towards the fact they are dead is the Bunny. That bunny was suppose to be special to her, and it was shown she ripped it up at their house, yet she's carrying the exact same one on the train. She could have bought a new one, but I'm mighty suspicious it would look exactly the same especially since she brought it in from outside the town. I dunno, them being dead made more sense than them being alive to me after reading a bit more into it.
