It's not the monsters' levels that are the problem

There's something I find far, far worse than this accuracy formula:

CHANGING IT

We know what it is now. This helps us plan for builds since, well, if you can't hit anything you can't train. If you can't train, you can't level up. If you can't level up, you can't play maplestory. By changing the formula, now it leaves in question how much ACC we need to hit mobs and what Accuracy actually means. Constantly changing the formula and then not stating what it was changed to does not help anyone. It just makes me scared that I won't be able to hit anything in a few weeks.

I completely sympathize, Fiel, but face it: Nexon want to keep us guessing. Revamps, Rebalancings, formula changes... if not this patch, then the next. You can't count on anything, can't make any long-term plans in this game anymore.
That's one reason I've decided to keep my Hero's 80 base DEX. It may never be needed again, but damned if I pay $$$ to reset it now and then have to pay a lot again to reset it back or to replace all my gear with DEX/ACC stuff. I'd rather hit low than not hit at all.
