Well here's how I came to terms with the "unrealistic" number of hits in the animations. Blast is a drill, so I can sort of imagine the monster being shredded apart. As for Assaulter's, the animation has the player vanish for a short amount of time, and when I think about bandits I think of them doing everything really freaking fast like in the description for double stab; thus, I imagine the bandit flew past the monster and just tor it apart along the way.
I still want new animations for my charges though, those things have got to become more flashy and unique. Ice is just fire with a blue color and chunks of darker blue thrown in, and lightning is all scribbley. Holy is ok, but sort of on the plain side.
