It appears that Asiasoft's presumed 'strengthened security' is either insufficient or that the Chinese hackers are just too good to counter; people are getting hacked again non-stop, even after the official statement from Asiasoft.
This issue is becoming a nationwide matter - having a 1 page feature on this in the daily news is not a good thing for AS indeed.
That blog post contains some rather outdated info (August 6). You can read the original thread on the MapleSEA forum here: http://forums.playpark.net/showthread.php?t=461091
The situation has since then changed -- the announcement regarding AsiaSoft's investigation and security upgrades came much later (Sept 12). http://forums.playpark.net/showthread.php?t=485850
A MapleSEA forum staff mentioned that the upgrades seem to have managed to stop the attacks, for now (Sept 13). http://forums.playpark.net/showpost.php?...tcount=222
