I raised a helm mule for my Aran (and I had several noobs call me a hacker in the first week or so I wore it, lol, but it legitimately worked). Then after a while I think the quest chain was added for Arans.
It might be worth waiting a few months to see if they add the quests. Or if you've got a few hours and a few bucks to spare, try just raising a bowman/magician helm mule. (Disclaimer: I haven't tried this with a WH or BaM, so I can't guarantee whether this method would work.)
While there's no reason that won't work (they can wear any other mage/bowman gear, right?), seems not worth the money. So easy to get to 50 and buy a zhelm or get to 70 and the bandana (on new servers).
