And Just Because I'm Mean I'll point out right now that nothing that's made it through so far has even remotely moved me towards considering it for replacing the existing so it's a definite Not Happening but maybe next time.

The point of these isn't to shove up whatever the majority can tolerate as 'the least of the worst' just for the sake of having something different; it's to look for something that might outshine what we have now and to reward people for having the courage and imagination to try.

 tldr

You don't slap a crown on the pig and call it the king because it's the only thing that showed up to the coronation, you keep looking and give the pig a turnip for the consideration.

If this is the case can we get a reset again...? I still think #7 is the best and if it's a DEFINITE no to any of these being used, I want to vote for it. 6 is still nice but I voted for it because it's what I thought would make the best banner, not because it was the best piece of art.
