Being constructive is providing ways they can improve, not just stating it's something you outright despise regardless.
No one can do anything about your tastes - They're not an actionable complaint. The lines being too thick, the colors being too dark, all the submissions that didn't think to use transparency and wouldn't work on any background except one that matched them - Those are actionable constructive complaints they can take and come back to next go around as ways to improve.
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.
