Yeah, I tried him, and enjoyed it. Generally I prefer tanky melee characters when I start any game, but I can enjoy the ranged ones too after I start getting the hang of it. I just have a tougher time with ranged magic users, mostly due to them being so fragile. I think once I start playing with people, some of that will change, mostly because the damn bots are good at running into trouble that I feel obligated to try and get them out of so they don't feed the other bots. I pretty much have just been trying all the new weekly champs once or twice and occasionally refreshing myself when they bring in repeats. Once I've tried almost all of them, I'll start saving up for my faves. For now I just have the cheapy 450 ones in addition to the free ones. I'd say judging by my bot play, that I can do most characters average, but there are a few that I've done better with. I remember Kog'Maw the best because he absolutely wrecked the bots and lead to an incredibly short game after I got the right amount of levels and items. I think it was something along the lines of 15-20 kills that game, where all my previous plays had netted me around 10-12 at max, and 6-8 was the average. I doubt I'd do quite that well with him against human opponents, but it certainly made me want to check out all the other new champs when I could just to see if there were any others like him for me.
