Newties aren't very good for me - lack of pet to loot makes it a pure meso loss, lack of free maps, 1hko for nest golems, etc. That being said, I've never found anywhere else that made eagle worthwhile. I also took FA several years ago in 2nd job, so now I'm considering a 10 thrust, 15 eagle, 21 blizzard, max everything else build while dumping the leftover points into booster and/or SA.
How useful is eagle once you get frostprey? I already pretty much never train on things that aren't freezable (except sharks, but eagle's completely unneeded there...) Is there any serious drawback to this build that I'm not seeing? Also, no, I'm not resetting points out of FA to fix it that way instead. If I had NX, I'd HP wash way before I bothered with that.
