Bishops aren't as great as you think.

Some Bosses, but not all. Of course you cant expect to be able to spam heal when you are against all bosses but it's perfectly safe at most, and a few newer bosses practically require heal to fight (Dragon Rider and the LHC boss).

You forget that a bishop's strength is not in damage, but their buffing ability and utility. Obviously a class with higher utility will be a bit weaker. Lose the utility and then we can discuss higher damage.

HS mules? That's actually pretty good. You have a skill so powerful that the skill alone makes you extremely useful and worthwhile.

All cures are going to lose their significance in some areas, especially those that limit potion use.

Soul Stone has its flaws. The main one is that you must cast in in preperation and that it only targets random party members. Also, I believe it only affects the whole party post-chaos if you break the level cap. Post-BB, I believe it only targets 3 party members now (and I believe post-BB GMS is what this topic refers to anyway). For Resurrection, you can easily specifically target any member of the party or save it for when several party members are dead.
In terms of Wheels of Destiny, they cost NX, and i dont know about you, but I think saving my valuable NX is more important than replacing reviving skills.
