Is this actually confirmed to be a glitch or done unintentionally though? I don't see any actual proof. I'm not saying it isn't a glitch, I'm just asking if there's any basis on it being a glitch or not.

Abusing an oversight is the equivalent to abusing a glitch. It doesn't matter which it is.
