Explosives-laden house in San Diego burned down

This is just pineappleing scary. That house was literally packed full with the explosives PETN (sound familiar?), HTMD (explodes if stepped on; VERY unstable), and other chemicals used by suicide bombers in the Middle East. Had the house blew up, a large portion of the surrounding neighborhood would've been flattened, and could have caused a good number of casualties and collateral damage.

It was also packed with handmade grenades, ammunition, and detonators. Some chemicals that were supposed to be used for the bomb(s) (HCl, HNO3) were removed from a shed when law enforcement first found the explosives-laden house.

Since the fire in the house was intentionally set to go past 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit and beyond, the explosives were neutralized, so that was a good thing.
