The monochrome world. Flashing lights and stalking the dark trails of shadows, taking their stride as mine.
The world's lost it's color, now only shades of grey are what my eyes, foggy in the misty noon light.
Red, white, and green were the first colors to leave. All purpose and recognition to their existance faded. A drifting memory, a sigh in the sea of this waste.
Yellow and Black, hand in hand, fixed themselves upon the lofty stars and took away their souls from this world.
Green, blue, brown, and orange were taken by the noise. It shook them, tore them. They were eaten by the void.
Purple, the last, was left alone. It fell to despair and faded from sight, escaped even from it's own life. No one should bear the stain of abandonment.
Echoes. The low hum of a beating heart that gave form to this world, and the grey barren land are all my senses understand here.
It is peaceful. Nice, quiet, a forlorn foe turned ally, unsure of where it should stand. It exists to find it's purpose.
Yes. It sighs.
