Concerning forum bashing

It seems to be in vogue around here to bash other forums, namely for Sleepywood being "full of elitist pigs" and Basilmarket to be "full of idiots." Well, I'm not having that.

There is a very diverse community of people here from all sorts of other forums - Mapletip, Basil, and Sleepy alike. When you bash someone's home forum, it does not reflect well on the site and the maturity level of its users. Since I am very against forum bashing, anyone found bashing another forum will be hit with a trolling infraction.

When you insult Sleepywood for being full of elitist pigs, you insult me because I once was a part of Sleepywood. Was I an elitist pig? Nope, sure wasn't. When you insult Basilmarket, you insult everyone here at these forums who also go to basilmarket.

Now if you have a legitimate reason for disliking a site ("I don't like Sleepywood because they banned me over a dumb violation"), that's fine. There's no problem with that. But if you say that "Sleepywood has assholes for moderators and I hate Adura" you're going to get hit with a trolling infraction. Be careful of what you say about other forums, because that does reflect on Southperry!
