C'mon Ben, everyone and their mother knows that there are no reasons for governments not to be transparent. Ideally, yes, but basing your argument only around the idea of a realistic setting is as flawed as pulling the ideal setting.

Extreme, yes, but justifying it is giving it power that it should never have.
