Do you mean pawning or selling? Two different things, I get the feeling you mean selling at a pawn shop but you keep saying pawning.
For the smaller stuff ebay is definitely a better option. Pawn shops are out to make money on reselling your tiems for a lower than new price so you'll most likely find yourself really disappointed with what they offer.
Selling the bigger things on ebay may be tough since shipping is prohibitive. You may find it better to list it on craigslist or something.
