Don't assume I don't work with music, I play guitar and piano. I know what I am doing. Obvoiusly you can't be convinced, so I provided more proof.
This is where I recorded the sample of the Rory Hoy song. Click on the headphones under the play length of the track and it will open a new window, where you can preview any part of the song. I previewed the very beginning of the song, and recorded that.
I also re-edited the tracks in Magix Music Maker. The MP3 is here. What I did this time was
- in the first part of the song, I did a side by side comparision with the volumes as equal as I could get them. It's almost 4am, so I did my best being doing that this tired.
-For the second part of the MP3, I cut the the tracks at every bar, and had them take turns playing.
- For the third part, I did the same thing as the second, except I overlapped the tracks and adjusted the volume so the transition from one track to the other was smoother
- and for the last part, I did the same things for part one and two, except I cut the samples every two bars and had them take turns while keeping the transition from on track to the other smooth.
Here is the screen shot of what I did.
This is not a prank, it's just my observation. And to me, it sounds like Rory Hoy stole the sleepywood track.
