why does everyone have cartoon pics as their facebook pics?

Agreed. There are tonnes of practical, logical ways to help suffering children across the world. If they REALLY wanted to do something, instead of sitting here and sticking their favorite childhood character on their facebook profile, they could actually go out and donate to a charity that helps these children or something.

Its nice that people see a problem, but its a shame that too many of these people dont take any REAL action to try to solve it and choose to take the comfortable, easy "stick ______ on my facebook profile" route.

I'm sure most of them don't really care about the cause, they just see everyone else doing it and don't wanna feel left out, or seem like a jerk for not "caring about the abused children" when everyone else is.
