NASA discovers unique new life form

Not a huge shocker to me. Arsenic is just a step down the table from phosphorous. It's just poisonous to more complex life because of the stronger/weaker reactions arsenic has over phosphorous, but if this bacteria isn't dependent on those reactions to survive, then it can function with arsenic. The first bacteria couldn't survive with oxygen present. But then others came around that could. This is pretty much just another nice example of evolution.

Evolution. That's that thing that requires DNA. Right?
