Just out of curiousity, did you use a night action to determine that fact? Or some other means that might have been tampered with? Additionally, him lying and claiming catwoman doesn't assure you he's actually a mafian, he could be another townie with a name that leads to an obvious night action/role. As I said, I have some reasonable doubt about anyone claiming to know anything for sure given what I've seen so far in this game.
