The square system is decent, but when it comes to higher mobs (ToT for example with 225 avoid), getting that extra bit of accuracy just to gain a slightly higher chance to hit is a bit more of an annoyance than helpful. Besides, with the quest reset and the new Ludibrium cape (with 420 accuracy), there's not much need for any other equipment. Eventually you will need some kind of major accuracy gear to hit Pink Bean, and it might as well be the cape since the only other replacement is a PAC/Blackfist where Chaos Scrolls only press your luck and wallet.
Mostly with these formula changes, I'm a bit more surprised that it's been well over a week since the patch and no one has been able to get much of a clue besides that the level difference part of the formula still remains the same.
