As for dating sites, im kinda torn, i used to think that a way to find someone a lot like you was perfect so online dating was a pretty cool idea. But then as years went on I realized I had at one point developed strong feelings for someone, who despite all the differences between me and them, sincerely kept trying to make dating each other work, and i liked her not for what we had in common, but what we had between us.
I'm not going to generalize all date site users since i never used one, but i wonder how well they focus on the whole bond-building element: do they try to get people to really put effort into whomever they choose? Or do they encourage you to 'skip' people and keep flipping through pages until you find one who doesn't bore you within the 1st week?
Cause if its the latter i can't endorse them.
Edit: Thinking about it, this kind of thing would (or probably does) work awesomely in places like Korea or Japan if my perceptiion of both areas are correct. They're more densely populated than the states right? Probably could end up RP dating someone in MS there and find out they're a hour drive away...
lol yup, just checked on wikipedia: United states ranks 178th in population density whereas SK and Japan are 22 and 36th respectively... no wonder most of america looks down on it so harshly, prolly QQing cause their love is states away.
