USAF ROTC
#3
My main concern was money when I went to college as well. I had to choose between a private $40,000 school and an $18,000 public school. I picked the public school and have no regrets (especially after the recession). I ultimately applied to a ton of scholarships both public and private, resulting in my tuition being less than $3,000 a year. I am currently attending school with all expenses covered. I would not use ROTC as a means to solve financial matters. Then again, it depends on how much debt you will accumulate and what type of college you plan on attending. These programs generate participants off of prospective risk analysis. It is up to you to decide, but you seem smart enough to cover your own finances without the need to do compulsory government service.
