Slow buildup to s'hit going down, Ichigo needs his powers back, Isshin teaches his son how to get his powers back, then flashback into the Isshin past arc before the big true final arc.

Oh right, Isshin lost his powers too... I wonder if he used the final getsuga as well. And how the heck does Ichigo slowly get his powers back at a rate that seems so much more faster than his father, who seemed to have got his powers back after at least 16 years (assuming that he didn't have powers before ichigo was born).
