Sadly from what I've been reading there are plenty of problems still not addressed and even then I've heard now the disconnects are now more sporadic than ever.
I have a nasty feeling they totally botched this update and only attempted to recompile the game using an updated Software Development Kit. If so... the engine still is flawed and they probably only made the compatibility worse.
