So I have the whole installed folder on my flash drive, like I do with the main GMS client [the latter runs fine, actually]. I tried to run Tespia from there and it went ape-pomegranate, so I copied the whole thing to the computer, using the normal C:\Nexon\Maplestory etc etc etc. So the installed files are there, minus the "Nexon Game Manager" I have to reinstall every time.
I go to run Tespia now, and it keeps prompting me to reinstall, wanting to overwrite what's already there. Considering the computers here in the lab I work in run a system restore once a week, I already have to reinstall based on that [and they failed to image half of them properly when they upgraded to 7 this summer so half of them bluescreen on logoff too!
] and don't want to have to do it just cause it refuses to read the files.
Is running the GameLauncher instead a workable solution? I did try it to begin with and it didn't do anything at all, just kind of closed and went on its merry way.
Other than that, when I'm stuck reinstalling this POS, it likes to stop in the middle of installation and go "corrupt files lol sry" and work fine the next time, which wouldn't bother me if the installer didn't have to redownload the whole thing every time.
Anyone have any ideas on workarounds or am I just being Nexon'd? :|
