Yes, they did. It's acknowledged in the final episode. It featured scenes with the aged KND were done in live-action, and at one point, Numbah 4 tells Numbah 2 when Numbah 2 is talking with Numbah 3 that Numbah 3 isn't his wife and to get away from her or something.
