Serious question here.
Is there any incentive to go 2H or BW on a Paladin anymore? I hope so, because my pockets aren't deep enough to afford well-scrolled 1H-weapons (esp. Swords) + ATK shields.

You get a higher damage range (do more per hit) because you can generally afford stronger weapons (and 2h have the better formula).

On the other hand, your damage over time is worse. And with 2h your defensive abilities are slaughtered.

If you can afford about a 110 attack 1h sword + potential shield (3% str & 10+ str) you're pretty much set. You'll do less damage than the uber-funded chars, but with Potential about, that's pretty much inevitable.
