Covering seems to be the mechanics of Yellow Aura, I'm not sure but that idea seems to have been

And then only sort of. in that damage is spread around. What im suggesting as an alternative to the passive that you agreed would be great on Fighters would be skill that would basically enable a paladin to guard a specific party member for some of their damage, not share damage with them.
And i still say PG as it is is counterproductive on any warrior post-bb. They all reduce physical damage (the only damage pg effects) by an insane amount so pg really does very little. It's biggest use to before 4th is just that kb reduction and that is at best marginally useful. It becomes nigh useless especially to paladins post BB. the actual damage that pg ever gets an opportunity to act upon is little and often effectively zero. And i agree that it is somewhat out of theme for hero. I still think the Strong Legs passive idea i had would be better than PG for both classes. I'm all about paladins taking the defense to the extreme. And i say pg doesnt do much to take them there. It's their insane def, high guard rate, self heal and bubble skill that get them there. when you see a pally taking 1 damage (which is pretty much always) it means pg reflects nothing and obsorbs a whole 0-1 damage.
The way PG operates now is just not efective on the way paladins work. It's mixing tank types in too many ways if that makes sense to you. Eventually it starts becoming inneffective.
