Music genres that you listen to often.

my friend often blares metal music on his phone while we're hanging out.. i mean, i like the tune on SOME but what makes me go crazy is the gibberish. i mean, if you cant sing, dont sing peach, dont cover it up by singing metal.

Compare music to food. You either like it, or you don't. Some stuff is acquired-taste. I swear to God, I'm the only Asian that listens to Metal in my town. It's like how I think Rap is boring, but I'm not going to state "Rap sucks" at whoever that posted mostly Rap music. :| Some people end up listening to certain genres based on their social-groups too. Because I hung out with mostly people outside of my own ethnicity, most of my friends geared towards: Metal, Rock, and VGM. Because of that, I ended up taking a liking to Metal near High School. I used to listen to K-pop and J-pop a sh`itload when I was younger, now I think most of it is boring. It really depends on your lifestyle and who you hang out with.
