Shorten travel times between continents.
I understand how the ships give a more realistic feel for the game. So they don't need to make it absolutely instant. Maybe make every ride ~1:00 or so. So you can get the "real" aspect, as well as saving a s'hitload of time. I HATE WASTING TIME.
