Yeah, that's a good point. Even if that glitch followed him, it wouldn't be shown because Bosses never show them - no matter what.
And now that I think about, I'm pretty sure I remember Firebrands (first form) randomly displaying their name at times, too. Can someone confirm this? A few posts up said they've noticed they have the same problem. I often kill them too fast to pay attention - but it would surely make sense if they do, and it would further confirm my theory.
